The Paper Players #196: Ann's clean and simple floral challenge (and a sneak peek)

I completely tore apart my craft room last weekend and reorganized it. Feels good to have a nice, clean area to work in. I wanted to make a nice, clean card to compliment my area. I think it fits well with this week's Paper Player's challenge. 

Here is my take on the sketch: 

I used a mixture of retiring product and a sneak peek of a new item. The bright blossoms, express yourself stamp sets and designer frames embossing folder are retiring and the punch is from the new Itty Bitty Accents punch pack that will be in the 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! catalog.

Happy Easter! We are having a beautiful day in Minnesota. My daughters are even outside in their swimsuits with the slip and slide! My own tulips are only just budding, so I used tulips on my card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #124- a sketch by Karren

It has been another rotten week of weather in Minnesota, and school was closed again this past Friday. I have lived in Minnesota for most of my life, and I have never have seen this many school closings. We had a ton of snow last Thursday and the roads were still pretty risky today. I cannot wait for some warmer weather. I was trying to be optimistic with my card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge and went with flowers. I hope to see some real ones sometime soon!

I do truly miss the color Poppy Parade for this stamp. It was the perfect color. Although, Calypso Coral works nicely too.
