Freshly Made Sketches #102

This week's Freshly Made Sketches is a sketch by Cindy.
When I saw the oval shape, I wanted to use the stamp from the Oh, Hello set. I've never used this stamp, even though I have wanted to for some time. I decided I wanted to go Halloween with this card, so I stamped it in black and went from there. Here is my take on the sketch:

I did pull out some retired products for this card. The sentiment is from Googly Ghouls, which is retired along with the googly eyes.

Freshly Made Sketches #95 with a sneak peek!

I haven't done the past few challenges because I was so busy around the fourth of July, but I liked this week's sketch so much, I did two cards!  Freshly Made Sketches #95-a sketch by Narelle.

I also received my holiday catalog pre-order supplies, so I dug right into them. The first card I did is a fall/Thanksgiving type card.

The card base is Sahara Sand and I used the new Sweater Weather designer series paper (my new favorite!) and Harvest of Thanks stamp set.

Stampin' up! supplies used:
Stamp set- Harvest of Thanks
Cardstock- Sahara Sand, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
Designer Series Paper- Sweater Weather
Ink- Chocolate Chip
Other- Apothecary Accents framelits, Natural designer buttons, Linen Thread

The second card I did was a Halloween card. It seems too early to be doing a Halloween card, but the back to school supplies are already in the store, so I'm probably ok.

The base of the card is Very Vanilla and I used the new Witches' Brew designer series paper.
