Freshly Made Sketches 163- a sketch by Cindy H.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I was thinking about the things I am thankful for. I am thankful my daughters are healthy and happy (when they aren't irritating the heck out of each other). I am thankful my husband is often the calm to my storm, and he works so hard to provide a good life for his family. I am thankful my parents are still alive and moved closer to us when they retired instead of heading south like most sane people would do.  I am super thankful my mom is doing Thanksgiving. Less stress for me this week. I am thankful for the good friends I have. I am thankful I get to take some time to be creative each week. I think that my daughters will carry that on. Both of them love to create and do art projects. I am jealous that both of them are able to draw well. My stick figures just don't compare, so I am also thankful for all of the great stamps Stampin' up! makes, so I don't have to actually draw.

I am thankful that Freshly Made Sketches has such great sketches each week!  This week's challenge is no exception.

Here is my take on the sketch:

Stampin' up! supplies used:
Stamp sets: Seasonally Scattered
Cardstock- Whisper White, Lost Lagoon
Designer Series Paper-All is Calm
Ink -Lost Lagoon
Other-Lost Lagoon 3/8 taffeta ribbon, Rhinestone basic jewels

  1. Beautifully done! I love this image for the sketch, and that ribbon and bow are the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
