I had a really busy weekend because my cousin got married, and my girls were both in the wedding, but I had to get a card done for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. I just loved the sketch.

CAS(E) this Sketch #156

I joined in the CAS(E) this sketch challenge this week. I thought the sketch had a nice spring feel to it, which is what I was feeling like doing today. Our winter hasn't been that bad this year, so I hate to complain, but by this time of the year, I'm kinda done with it. Sadly, we probably have 2 more months to go. Well, I can always dream of spring until it comes.

Here is my take on the sketch:

I used the new Wink of Stella glitter brush in clear on the flower. It did not show up very well in the photo, but I really liked how it adds a subtle sparkle.

It is way cold in Minnesota today. I was not going to step foot out of my house today, so I decided to spend time in my craft room. I had to clean and reorganize a bit, so I could get all my new stuff from the Stampin' Up! occasions catalog put away. I wanted to try out some stuff from the It's My Party suite for this week's Freshly Made Sketch challenge. The bright colors called to me on this dreary winter day.
