Freshly Made Sketches #91
Freshly Made Sketches #91 -a sketch from Cindy
Stampin' up! supplies used:
Other- Large Scallop Edgelits, Delicate Designs Embossing folder
Here is my take on her sketch:
This is a pretty simplistic card. The stamp set I used is a two step set. I stamped the fuller image with Crisp Cantaloupe, but stamped it off first to make it lighter. I then stamped over that image with the more detailed stamp using Calypso Coral. I cut that image out and added it to the stem using dimensionals. The large scallop border was embossed using the Delicate Designs embossing folder. I stamped a sentiment on a 3/4 inch piece of Whisper White, notched out the side to create a banner look and adhered it with dimensionals.

Fab Friday #20
The challenge for Fab Friday #20 is to use all of the new in colors. They are so gorgeous, and I love them all! Even so, I don't usually use 5 colors on a card, so it really was a challenge.

Here is my take on this week's sketch:
It might be a little hard to see in the photo, but I embossed the Smoky Slate cardstock with the new Wildflower Meadow embossing folder. I inked the matching Wildflower Meadow background stamp with markers. I stamped a sentiment from the hostess set Banner Greetings and cut it out before adhering it to the card.

Freshly Made Sketches #89
I had a hard time coming up with something this week. I really wanted to use some of Stampin' Up's new products, but my shipment has not arrived yet! I still have to wait until Tuesday to get them. I did come up with something though.
Freshly Made Sketches #89, a sketch from Rita:
My card base is Crumb Cake. I used the new Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper for the background and strung some linen thread around it before adhering it to the Crumb cake. The sentiment is from the new set Really Good Greetings and I stamped it with Calypso Coral on Very Vanilla. I matted it to Crumb Cake and added Calypso Coral and Soft Suede banners. I did die cut them with the Bitty Banners framelits to ensure they were all uniform.

Fab Friday 19
I've been wanting to play with some of the products from the new Stampin' up catalog. Today I got to! I tried some out for the Fab Friday sketch.
I used the new Gingham Garden Designer Series paper for my take on the sketch:
The card base is Island Indigo. I punched 2 Daffodil Delight flowers using the fancy flower punch. I stamped the center piece with Island Indigo using a stamp from the Mixed Bunch set. I added a few basic rhinestones to the center for some bling. I stamped the sentiment with Island Indigo and notched the end off of the cardstock using the 1" square punch to create a banner look. Super easy!!

Freshly Made Sketches #88
I ended up skipping last week's FMS #87 because of Memorial day. I hadn't intended too, but didn't get back from my trip to Duluth in time to complete it.
Here is this week's sketch: Freshly Made Sketches #88 from Jen M
I started with a 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Perfect Plum cardstock. I folded a 4 x 10 1/2 piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and adhered it to the Perfect Plum. The strip of Perfect Plum is from the Subtles Designer Series paper stack (now retired). I matted it with a piece of Perfect Plum. I used Perfect Plum and Old Olive markers to ink up the flower from the Love & Sympathy stamp set. I matted the Very Vanilla with Perfect Plum and added a strip of Old Olive that I punched with the eyelet punch (also retired). I added my sentiment and it's all done!
