Freshly Made Sketches #285- a sketch by Amy

Hopefully, we'll be seeing some real dragonflies soon, but until then, Dragonfly Dreams will have to do. For this week's Freshly Made Sketches, I stamped the dragonfly with Smoky Slate and used the Wink of Stella on the wings to simulate their shiny wings. I really wish Wink of Stella would show up in a photo!!

Freshly Made Sketches #284- a sketch by Karren

When the 2015-2017 In Colors came out, I thought Delightful Dijon was a drab color. It definitely grew on me and I have used it frequently on projects over the past 2 years. I will be sad to see it go. I used it again for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #283- a sketch by Jen B.

It is a beautiful, sunny Easter day in Minnesota. I was lucky to sneak in some time for card making today for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. It has been a very busy few weeks, with little time for creating!😟

I'll be honest, I have a lot of difficulty with uneven layers. They never seem to work out right for me, but I gave it a try this week anyway.

Here is my take on the sketch:

It was hard to capture, but there is Wink of Stella over the entire flower. It pops a lot better in person.
