Freshly Made Sketches #202- a sketch by Amy

It's been hot and humid in Minnesota since September started.  We've been so lucky this summer that there hasn't been a lot of this type of weather. I feel less guilty about spending the last few days of summer indoors when it's like this outside. It's been Barbie-ville in my living room the past couple days, with various neighbor girls joining in the fun. Keeps my girls busy so I can get crafty.

As soon as I saw Amy's sketch for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I immediately knew I wanted to use the Joyful Season set from Stampin' Up!'s holiday catalog. I love the sketchy watercolor feel of it (even though it's still too early for me to start thinking about Christmas).

Here is my take on the sketch:

  1. Love this sketchy design! It's hot and humid where I live too, so it's nice to have an excuse to stay indoors! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
