Freshly Made Sketches #188- a sketch by Karren

When I first saw the sketch for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I had an idea all planned out immediately. Then, I completely hated it when I started to put it together and did not have any other ideas. I went shopping for a little while to clear my head, hoping for a little color inspiration. I kept gravitating to blacks and neutrals in every store, so I figured I better keep it neutral on my card too.

Here is my take on the sketch:

Freshly Made Sketches #187- A sketch by Cindy L.

We've had some crappy weather for Memorial Day weekend. Lots of rain today, so I didn't feel bad at all for spending time in my craft room working on a card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Here is my take on the sketch:

One downfall of rainy weather (pun intended), is poor natural lighting for picture taking. A flash and Photoshop will only get you so far.

Stampin' up! supplies used:
Stamp sets:Everything Eleanor, Flower Shop, Papillion Potpourri, Petite Pairs
Cardstock- Very Vanilla, Hello Honey
Designer Series Paper-
Ink -Hello Honey, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip

Freshly Made Sketches #186- A sketch by Jen B.

It's been a long week. My husband was out of town all week for work, and each day was super busy. I felt like I was chauffeuring the kids everywhere. I was so tired that I was in bed by 9pm on Friday! It's funny to think there was a time that 9pm was when Friday night was just starting for me.

I struggled with trying to come up with something for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I fiddled around with a bunch of stuff and finally settled on this:

Freshly Made Sketches #185- a sketch by Cindy H.

I took some time to myself this mother's day to clean up my craft room, and sort through all my retiring Stampin' Up! products (sob!) Shhh, don't tell my kids, but it was kinda nice to have some time to myself today.

For this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I wanted to do a graduation card. Since we are getting close to the end of the school year, and my boss asks me to make some grad cards for her every year, I thought I'd get a start on some.

Here is my take on the sketch:
