Freshly Made Sketches #108

The weather in Minnesota has definitely shifted to fall. They are even talking about snow this weekend in some parts of the state. Blah! I'm not ready for that yet. I was inspired by the changing leaves for my card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge- a sketch by Narelle.

Here is my take on the sketch:

I kept the same color scheme as last week (probably because the paper was still sitting out on my desk!). I added a few elements from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created kit. The precut leaf and the birch paper are both from that kit. I did sponge the leaf a bit on the ends with Early Espresso ink to distress it a bit.

Stampin' up! supplies used:
Stamp sets:Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock- Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Designer Series Paper- Sweater Weather
Ink- Early Espresso
Other- Birch Paper and Precut leaf from the Thankful Tablescape Simply Created kit, Burlap Ribbon
