Paper Players #144- Mother's day theme from Anne Marie

This week's Paper Player's challenge is a theme challenge- Mother's day.

This is the card my mother will be getting next weekend.

The base card is Chocolate Chip cardstock, layered with my beloved Baja Breeze cardstock. I am so bummed out that it is retiring this year. On Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the label stamp from Everything Eleanor using Baja Breeze ink. I stamped that same image on a scrap piece of cardstock and cut it out. Using repositionable adhesive, I stuck it directly on top of the image I stamped on the Very Vanilla. I stamped the swirl using Chocolate Chip right on top of the two labels. When you remove the top label, it now looks like you stamped the swirl behind the label, which is also known as masking. I then used a stamp from Layered Labels, stamped it with Chocolate Chip on a piece of Very Vanilla, and cut it out using the Apothecary Accents framelits and the big shot. I adhered it to the Baja Breeze label using dimensionals. I stamped happy mother's day from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set with Chocolate Chip on a piece of Very vanilla and punched it out with large oval punch and adhered it to the label using dimensionals. I tied a piece of Chocolate Chip retired ribbon on the bottom and adhered it to the Baja Breeze layer.
